Bonds and 756

I am not a real big baseball fan. I do love the Cincinnati Reds though. Anyway, Barry Bonds broke the home run record last night. With the steroid controversy and all, Mr. Bonds whether you realize it or not, this record is tainted. Your accomplishment will always be in question…did he or didn’t he.

Why do athletes feel they need a competitive edge? What kind of lesson are we  teaching our kids? To be the best, you have to “cheat.” This is not the lesson I want my little one’s to learn. I think a better lesson would be do your very best, period. If you need drugs to run faster, or hit farther than you aren’t a superstar in my book.
